MACC Splits on Saturday

The MACC Lady Greyhounds improved to 3-0 with a 104-57 win over Spoon River of Illinois Saturday, while the men’s team lost for the first time this season, falling to Link Year Prep 93-82.

The men let a 15-point first half lead get away, but nearly erased a 12-point deficit in the second half.

Link Year’s Coban Porter, the Father Tolton product and brother of former Mizzou Tigers Michael and Jontay Porter, led all scorers with 29 points. The Hounds are now 3-1 and play at Metropolitan Tuesday.
