MACC and Three Rivers Split For Third Time

The 11th-ranked Lady Raiders beat 14th-ranked Moberly 74-67, while the Greyhound men rolled Three Rivers 103-71 at Fitzsimmons-John Arena Wednesday night. The Lady Hounds didn’t make a basket until there was 7:50 remaining in the second quarter, and yet still came back to take the lead in the third.

Moberly was unofficially outrebounded 46-34, giving up 22 offensive rebounds. The Lady Hounds fall to 14-4, 9-3 in Region 16, and will be at Crowder Saturday afternoon.

In the second game, Dezi Jones gave the Greyhounds the lead for good with a three to make it 23-22, which marked the start of a 16-0 run for the Hounds. Coming out of the locker room with a 50-29 lead, Cortez Mosely put on a show in the second half.

Moberly is now 12-7, and 5-5 in Region 16. The Hounds are at West Plains Monday night. Three Rivers falls to 8-10, and 2-8 in the region.
