Lady Hounds Host Mineral Area Region 16 Championship
The Moberly Lady Greyhounds are one game away from locking up a fourth straight berth in the NJCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. The winner of Friday night’s Region 16 contest at home against Mineral Area gets an automatic bid for the event starting March 22nd in Lubbock, Texas. Mineral Area is the third seed, and comes in 22-10 after winning 92-80 in the semifinals at Three Rivers Tuesday night. Moberly has been invited to the national tournament four of the last six seasons, although the 2020 tournament was cancelled. J.B.
