La Plata School District Approves Sidewalk Project as Students Return

Students return to class Tuesday in the La Plata School District. Interim Superintendent Rick Roberts says there will be sidewalk work performed for the first few weeks of school.
The project requires the replacement of an entire city block of sidewalk to be replaced on the east side of the district building. Work is expected to be completed by the end of September.
