La Plata School Board Discusses Withholds

The bulk of the time during this week’s La Plata School Board meeting was spent discussing financial matters. As Superintendent Dr. Craig Noah points out, that includes the withhold the governor announced last week.

Under the Governor’s directive, even districts that are held harmless, including La Plata, are not exempt from the withhold.

The La Plata School Board is expected to adopt the new district budget during a special meeting at the end of the month.
