Kirksville Police Thank Public For Identifying Subject

Kirksville Police say help from residents identifying a suspect regarding several reports of vehicle damage last year has led to a felony charge. Last April, Kirksville Police received reports of slashed tires on seven vehicles along North Franklin Street. The damage to these vehicles totaled just under 22-hundred dollars to repair. Police were able to identify a suspect after releasing his photo. 50-year-old Michael Douglas Thomas, formerly of Shelby County, had already fled the area by last May. His first court appearance in Adair County was Wednesday.
