Kirksville City Council Approves Ordinance for Omnibus Bill

The Kirksville City Council this month approved an ordinance for an omnibus bill. Assistant City Manager Ash Young says one element updates the building codes to the 2021 versions.
The bill also formally made the Kirksville Tourism Advisory Board a citizen advisory board. Young says the goal is to bring the tourism office into the city’s operations.
Young explains the advisory board membership.
The bill received unanimous approval from the Kirksville City Council.
