International Interest In Missouri’s SOYLEIC Beans Increasing

Missouri Soybeans’ patented SOYLEIC trait continues to attract potential licensees and growers, including one firm in Northern Italy.  Bryan Stobaugh, director of licensing and commercialization, says international markets wary of genetic modification are intrigued by the high-oleic, non-GMO bean.

Stobaugh says the high-oleic oil provides a healthier option for restaurants and other retailers.

Bryan Stobaugh of Missouri Soybeans notes that SOYLEIC beans not only provide high-oleic oil for consumers, but also high-protein meal for use in animal feed.
