Huskey And Ross-GLVC Players Of The Week

Truman State Football’s Mason Huskey and Grant Ross were selected as the Great Lakes Valley Conference Offensive and Special Teams Players of the Week following the Bulldogs 41-7 victory over Wayne (Mich.) State on Saturday.

Huskey rushed for a season/career high 115 yards and scored two touchdowns, and had a touchdown reception. The Hallsville native averaged 8.2 yards per carry.

Ross hit a field goal from 38 yards to put Truman up 17-0 in the first quarter, then capped off a 12-play drive at the end of the half with a 26-yard chip shot field goal to send the Bulldogs into the locker room up 27-0. Ross also converted on all five extra point attempts.
