Hunziker Named Harrisburg Girls Basketball Coach

The Harrisburg School District has announced Jaryt Hunziker has been hired as the Head Girls Basketball Coach. Hunziker has led area programs at Scotland County and Boonville. He guided the Lady Pirates to a state championship in 2021 and was named the KRES Coach of the Year and MBCA Class 4 Coach of the Year. Hunziker will come to the Harrisburg district from School of the Osage where he has coached the last two years. His career record is 358-172.

Hunziker replaces Ryan Richardson, who will leave Harrisburg to become the next Athletic Director at Hallsville.
