Our February snowfall total of 18 inches is tied with February of 2011 for the 6th highest monthly total of snow at the Moberly observation station. In data from the Midwestern Regional Climate Center, our three top months for snow were all in March. 23 inches of snow fell in March of 1960, 20.5 inches accumulated in March of 1947, and 19.5 in March of 1978. January of 1979 had a total of 18.8 inches and February of 1975 had 18.5 inches of snow.

Record-keeping for Moberly goes back to 1936. There were some months missing on the list.
