The Higbee Board of Education has accepted an invitation to join the Carroll Livingston Activities Association in 2021-22. Superintendent Danielle Tuepker explains the move.

The CLAA extended the invitation to Higbee this past winter, but the district wanted to explore its options before accepting the invite. The district will depart the Cooper County Activities Association which it has been associated with since 2015. Schools who are in the Carroll Livingston Activities Association are Bosworth, Breckenridge, Brunswick, Hale, Hardin-Central, Keytesville, Norborne, Northwestern, Southwest Livingston County, and Tina-Avalon. Braymer will also be joining the conference this year. We will have more insight on the move in sports next week.
