Harrisburg Boys Feature Deep Roster for the 2023-24 Season

The Harrisburg boys basketball team returns several key pieces for the 2023-24 season as they aim for a deep postseason run. Coach Kyle Fisher says this includes one of their top scorers in Trace Combs.

The Bulldogs will be without one of their top defenders in Hunter Cole, who suffered an ACL injury late in football season. Fisher expects several players to fill in for Cole.

Harrisburg fell to eventual Class 2 state champion Salisbury in the district title game last year to end the season at 18-11. This season, Harrisburg preps for a tough postseason road with early challenges at the Glasgow Tournament and the Norm Stewart Classic.

The Bulldogs will face three-time defending Class 1 champion South Iron at Mizzou Arena on December 7th. They’ll open the season Saturday at Sturgeon. You can hear from Coach Fisher and the rest of our area boys basketball coaches during the KRES Tipoff Show Tuesday beginning at 5:35.
