Haden Heads To D-I Georgia Southern

After one year at Georgia Southwestern, leading the Lady Hurricanes to the Elite Eight for the first time in school history, former Lady Hounds head basketball coach Hana Haden has been named the next head coach at Division One Georgia Southern in Statesboro, Georgia. Athletic Director Jared Benko announced Friday the WBCA as the National Coach of the Year will be introduced at a news conference Tuesday. The Lady Hurricanes were 29-4 this season after five years at MACC, going 118-36.
