Green City Man Dies in Single-vehicle Accident

A Green City man is dead following a single-vehicle accident in Sullivan County. The State Highway Patrol reports 74-year-old Chester Hale had a medical issue while driving his car on Highway 6 at Pecan Road just before 8am Wednesday. He ran off the right side of the road and struck a fence and utility pole. He was later pronounced dead at a Milan hospital.
