Governor Announces Grants for La Plata and Moberly

Governor Mike Parson made four stops in northeast Missouri Thursday, including visits to La Plata and Moberly, where he announced the awarding of grants. In Moberly, it was for a demolition grant.

Moberly Public Works Director Tom Sanders outlines what will be taking place.

And in La Plata, the Governor talked about a 495 thousand dollar community development block grant, that will be used for an improvement project for streets and drainage.

Governor Parson also made a stop in Macon to tour the Central Service and Supply, Incorporated facility, and one at the Adair County Courthouse in Kirksville.
