Georgia Southwestern Women Face Minnesota State

The Georgia Southwestern State women’s basketball team meets Minnesota State in St. Joseph Monday night in the Division Two Elite Eight. The Lady Hurricanes are 29-3. Minnesota State is 29-5. NCAA Division II Women’s Coach of the Year, and former Lady Greyhounds Head Coach, Hana Haden, says her team looks much like the ones she coached at Moberly.

Former Lady Hound Kayla Langley is second on the team in scoring at 10-and-a-half poinbts per game, and leads in field goal percentage, while Kori Tomlin leads the Lady Hurricanes in three point percentage. Haden says the Mavericks are a tough draw for her team.
