Gaines On Ways To Stay Alert When Severe Weather Hits

There are 22 emergency warning sirens across Randolph County that were activated last weekend when severe weather rolled through the region. Emergency Management Director David Gaines says he is working to update sirens.

Gaines says that is why it’s important to have multiple ways to stay weather alert.

KRES had over three hours of continuous severe weather coverage on May 6th when a tornado struck the Linneus area. Gaines said a 23rd siren will be added in Randolph County later this year east of Moberly along Route EE.
