Funding to be a Priority in Session

While charter school expansion and vouchers are a couple of issues the Missouri School Boards Association will be watching closely during the upcoming legislative session, spokesman Brent Ghan says there will be others too. That includes funding.

Rocheport Representative Chuck Basye has been named Chairman of the House Elementary and Secondary Education Committee.

Prefiling of bills for the session began earlier this month, with the session beginning on January 8th.
