Four Hurt in Clark County Accident

Four people were hurt, two seriously, in an accident on Highway 136 a mile west of Medill, about 11:55 Friday morning. The State Highway Patrol says a pickup driven by 33-year-old Eric Wood of Arbela crossed the center line, striking an SUV driven by 65-year-old Randy Sponseller of Memphis. The SUV then went off the road and overturned. Wood had moderate injuries and was taken to Memphis. Sponseller had minor injuries and was taken to Quincy along with two passengers. 66-year-old Valerie Sponseller and a 14-year-old girl, both from Memphis, had serious injuries.
