A former Monroe City standout has made it official. Olney Central Junior College transfer C.E. Talton has signed to play basketball at Truman State University. Bulldog coach Jeff Horner is glad to get a taller point guard…

Talton was a three-time KRES All-Star selection, and twice received All-State recognition. He played the last three seasons for Olney Central. Talton has two years of eligibility due to the COVID season. The two-time Clarence Cannon Conference Player of the Year averaged 11 points and two and a half assists as a third-year starter.

Talton is the second former CCC All-Conference player to sign with Truman. Brandon Kracht from Clark County also transferred into the Bulldog program from John Wood Community College.
