Forest Management Workshop Friday Outside Clark

The Missouri Department of Conservation and University of Missouri Extension will host a workshop Friday morning west of Clark for landowners looking for tips on effectively managing forests on their property. Extension natural resources specialist Brian Schweiss will be among the presenters and has a rundown of some of the topics.

Schweiss says many of the presentations will feature practices deemed suitable for farmers who have acreage enrolled in EQIP and CRP.

The forest management workshop runs from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at the Rudolf Bennitt Conservation Area west of Clark on Howard County Road 133.
