Flood Resiliency Bill Heard in House Committee

A bill related to flood resiliency in Missouri was recently heard by the House Conservation and Natural Resources Committee. Representative Peggy McGaugh of Carrollton is the bill sponsor.

The funds would be used to help stakeholders impacted by flooding in the state. McGaugh says this measure would benefit several area communities.

Senator Rusty Black’s version of the bill is currently being reviewed by the Senate Agriculture, Food Production and Outdoor Resources committee.
