Five Missouri Soy Farmers Post Triple-Digit Yields

District and state winners have been announced in the 2021 Missouri Soybean yield contest.  Research Director Greg Luce says five contestants exceeded 100 bushels per acre.

The state’s top yields were reported in Cape Girardeau County, where Carl Landewee had the top overall yield, at 104.93 bushels per acre in a conventional tilled field.  Luce says the rising yields indicate that farmers are challenging themselves to better manage their soybean fields.

Missouri Soybeans Research Director Greg Luce says winners will be recognized at their district meeting as well as the Missouri Soybean Association’s annual meeting January 24th in Jefferson City.
