Fishing Opportunities Abound in the Missouri River

There are a number of fishing opportunities on the Missouri River. Chariton County Conservation Agent Chris Chesher discusses some local access points.

There are a variety of methods anglers can use to catch fish.

Trotlines and limb lines should be checked daily and have a name, address and conservation number labeled on them. Chesher adds a variety of baits can be used for the various methods.

Daily limits are ten for channel catfish and five for both blue and flathead catfish.
