First COVID-19 Related Death Reported in Randolph County

The Randolph County Health Department announced earlier Thursday the first death of a Randolph County resident due to complications from COVID-19. The patient had been hospitalized since July 6th. Randolph County Coroner Don Barrett has issued a statement clarifying that the patient did test positive for COVID-19, but the cause of death was Pulmonary Embolus.
