Deer Causes An Accident Seriously Injuring A Moberly Man

A Moberly man was seriously injured in an accident Friday caused by a deer. The State Highway Patrol reports a motorcyle driven by 42-year old Donald Shannon of Moberly struck the animal that was on route DD about three miles north of Moberly. The cycle overturned and Shannon was ejected. He was flown to Columbia for treatment of serious injuries. The accident occured just after 11:00 Friday morning.
