COVID-19 Updates From Surrounding Counties

Monroe County Health Department reported 138 active Covid-19 cases with 1,652 recovered and 28 deaths since the pandemic began. There have been 216 breakthrough infections in Monroe County.

In Boone County, a record 758 NEW cases of COVID-19 were reported by Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services heading into the weekend. The number is almost 200 higher than ANY other day in Boone County since the pandemic began. There are 3,308 active cases of COVID-19 in Boone County with 154 current hospitalizations.

The Adair County Health Department confirmed 57 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday. Nine of the newly reported cases include students in Adair K-12 schools. There are sixteen breakthrough infections of fully vaccinated individuals with ages ranging from 14 through 78.
