The Columbia Police Department is investigating two separate hit-and-run incidents where protesters were struck last night. The first incident occurred at 8:15 pm near the intersection of Broadway and Providence Road. A 25-year old woman was struck by an unidentified vehicle. The woman was tended to by members of the Columbia Police and Fire Departments. She was later transported to a local emergency room for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The second incident occurred shortly before 9 pm. Columbia police responded to a report of a vehicle leaving the scene of a collision with a pedestrian near the intersection of Broadway and Providence Road. A 21-year old woman claimed a four-door sedan neared the intersection. She then asked the driver to turn around, but he refused and collided with her. Medics arrived to tend to her, but she refused medical treatment. The driver was described as a white male with blonde/brown hair. No suspect has been identified in either incident.
