Columbia Police Investigating Homicide

Columbia Police are investigating a homicide after responding to a report of shots fired in the 800 block of Grand Avenue around 12:30 this morning. Police arrived on scene and found 37-year-old Demetrius Ware of Columbia with gunshot wounds. Ware was later pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital. Police have issued a warrant for 35-year-old Isaac Brown of Columbia for second degree murder and armed criminal action.
