Columbia Police Investigate Reported Burglary With Weapon on Brookside Lane

The Columbia Police Department says it responded to a reported burglary with a weapon in the 300 block of Brookside Lane after 4am Monday. Officers spoke with an adult male and adult female victims who said an unknown male broke into their apartment and demanded money and property. The victims described the male suspect as approximately 5’0″, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a mask. During the investigation, officers located evidence of shots fired.
