Collins Reflects on Time as Brookfield Superintendent

Tuesday night was the last school board meeting for Brookfield Superintendent Dr. Kyle Collins. He is retiring at the end of the month.

Collins is wrapping up his 26th year in education. Current Northwestern R-1 School District Superintendent Dr. Eric Hoyt will take over the job on July 1st. Collins says the transition process with Hoyt has been very smooth.

One of Collins’ final acts as superintendent was finalizing the district’s budget for the upcoming school year.
