CLAA Schools Collide as Northwestern Visits Higbee

Higbee will be the destination for a Friday night doubleheader of basketball as the Northwestern (Mendon) Eagles roll into town. In the opening matchup of the night, the 11-3 Lady Tigers put their four-game winning streak on the line. Coach Tanner Burton says his team has to compete for all four quarters.

Northwestern enters the contest 5-8 and have held two of their last four opponents to under 30 points. Coach Blake Burns.

The boys’ matchup features two of the top three teams in the CLAA. The Eagles are 10-3 having won nine out of ten games since their early 1-2 start. Coach Michael Kahn.

Higbee will try to defend their homestead with a current 13-1 record. Burton says every conference win puts the Tigers one step closer to a CLAA Title.
