Chariton County has seen four positive tests for the coronavirus during the ongoing pandemic. The rise in positive tests has many area residents concerned they may have contracted the virus. Chariton County Health Center Administrator Carrie Scheid says residents need to seek help if they start showing symptoms.

The Chariton County Health Center can also provide guidance in this situation.

Scheid adds that practicing social distancing is the most important thing residents can do.

Chariton County is under a Stay at Home Order through April 24th. Residents are encouraged to visit the Chariton County Health Center Facebook page for additional information on the coronavirus.
