Centralia Teen Escapes Car Before Fire

A 16-year-old Centralia boy only had minor injuries after a crash on Route CC at Dinwiddie School Road in Boone County Wednesday night that led to his car catching fire. The State Highway Patrol says around 9:35, the boy was travelling too fast for the conditions and failed to negotiate a curve. His car went off CC and hit a stop sign before coming to a stop. He got out of the car before it became fully engulfed in flames. He was taken privately to Columbia.
