Brandon Friebe Returns as Fayette Boys Basketball Coach

Fayette’s new boys basketball coach is a familiar face for Falcon fans. Brandon Friebe previously led the program from 2004 to 2008. Friebe discusses what led to his return 16 years later.

Since leaving the Fayette program in 2008 Friebe’s life has taken him on a unique journey.

His son Kaleb just completed his junior season with the Falcons. Friebe also helps run the Fayette Youth Basketball program. He says that experience will help in his return to coaching varsity basketball.

Friebe says the Falcons will have one main focus under his watch.

The Falcons allowed 72 points a game this past season on their way to a 4-22 record. Friebe takes over for Jon Bishop, who led the Falcons for the past six seasons.
