Boy Injured in Triplett Golf Cart Accident

An Independence boy suffered moderate injuries in an accident in Triplett around 9:20 this morning. The State Highway Patrol says the nine-year-old boy fell of a golf cart driven by 56-year-old Gail Buchanan of Independence on private property neat Walnut and Hooper Streets. The boy was run over by a trailer being pulled by the golf cart. He was taken to Columbia.
