Big Numbers Again in Moberly Football Preseason Camp

For the second year in a row, Moberly football coach Cody McDowell has over 80 players in preseason camp….

McDowell enters his 9th season as Moberly coach. The Spartans finished 5-6 last season, after bowing out in the district championship game to Boonville.

Leading rusher Gage St. Clair returns. Coach McDowell says he will lead a deep running back corps….

He referenced Ka’Von Tiger, who will take a more prominent role in the backfield as a sophomore. With the graduation on Colin Huffman, Jackson Engel takes over as Spartans quarterback….

The Moberly defense will be led by a pair of All-NCMC linebackers in seniors Gabe Flood and Carter Smith…..
