Basye Pleased With Passing of Photo ID Bill

Missouri lawmakers approved a photo identification requirement for voters last week. Representative Chuck Basye is pleased that passed.
Basye outlines some other provisions to the bill.
The bill would also allow the Secretary of State to review the list of registered voters in any jurisdiction. If a voter does not have a photo ID, they can cast a provisional ballot, which would only be counted if they returned to the polling place with a required ID.
