Basye Discusses Proposed Undercut to Medicaid Expansion

The Missouri House advanced a bill last week that would put Medicaid expansion back on ballots. The bill proposes a constitutional amendment that would allow lawmakers to refuse to fund Medicaid expansion. Representative Chuck Basye outlined the measure.

Basye says the bill is a good proposition to send to the voters and says a cutting of funds to Medicaid can lead to more spending in other important areas.
The next hearing for the bill is Tuesday.
