Barry Koeneke Set to Coach Final Regular Season Home Game

Hallsville head baseball coach Barry Koeneke is set to coach his final regular season home game after 46 years at the helm. Koeneke feels the team is in a great spot heading into the season finale.

Koeneke says a turning point came about 10 days ago.

Sturgeon head coach Kevin Hicks is also retiring at the end of the year after 22 years as the head man. Hicks shared where he’d like to see the most improvement in his team.

Hicks always expects a tough opponent in Hallsville.
