Anti-Spoofing Bill Moves Through Legislature

A bill moving through the House would make it illegal for telemarketers to display a fake, or spoofed, number on your caller ID. State Representative Danny Busick of Newtown says this would make that practice a misdemeanor.
Busick notes the technology isn’t quite there yet to enforce this.
The Senate already passed SB 119.
