Alternative to PDMP Being Considered

Senator Cindy O’Laughlin’s opposition to the proposed prescription drug monitoring program is well known. However, the Shelbina Republican says an alternative is now under consideration.
O’Laughlin emphasizes that this would be voluntary.
Missouri is the only state without a PDMP. The Missouri House is also considering PDMP legislation that has the support of the House Speaker and the Democratic Leader.
