Westran Is Still Number 1-Latest MBCA Rankings
Despite their first loss the Westran Hornets are still ranked number 1 in the new Missouri Basketball Coaches Association Class 2 poll. New Franklin beat Westran in the finals of the New Franklin Tournament and the Bulldogs check in at number 7. Also in the same district, Salisbury is ranked 8th. Putnam County is receiving votes. In Class 1 boys, Green City is ranked 3rd, Higbee is 6th, and Atlanta is 7th. In Class 4 boys, Tolton remains 2nd, Mexico is 5th, and Fulton is 7th. Macon and Hallsville are receiving votes. Hickman and Rock Bridge are receiving votes in Class 6.
Moving to the girls polls, Cairo is tied for 3rd in Class 2 and Schuyler County is 5th. Harrisburg is receiving votes. In Class 1, Meadville is ranked 4th, North Shelby is 6th, and Pilot Grove is receiving votes. In Class 3 girls, South Shelby is ranked 4th and Palmyra is receiving votes. Southern Boone and Centralia are receiving votes in Class 4. Helias is still the number one team in Class 5. In Class 6, Hickman is 8th and Rock Bridge is 10th.
