Truman’s McKnight Named GLVC Player of the Week

Truman men’s basketball star Cade McKnight received his first GLVC Player of the Week honor. The Reigning GLVC Player of the Year averaged 22 points, seven rebounds, and four and a half assists over two victories in the GLVC-GMAC Challenge at Quincy last week. McKnight shot 68%, including a 10-14 performance with 27 points against Findlay. Truman’s last GLVC Player of the Week was Dylan Peeters, who collected the award in early December last season. 2-0 Truman next faces Pittsburg State in the Chris Tucker Memorial Classic in Joplin Friday.
