Truman Womens Basketball Adds Two Transfers

Truman State Women’s Basketball has added two transfers to their roster for the 2022-23 season. Alex Fanning was a second team all-region selection from Benedictine (Ill.) University and Gracie Neff has started the past two seasons at Lindenwood University.

Fanning was a three-time all-region selection by D3hoops.com and was twice selected the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference player of the year. In three seasons for the Eagles, Fanning averaged 13 points and 11 rebounds per game with 44 double doubles and 240 career blocked shots. Bulldogs coach Theo Dean says the 6-3 Fanning isn’t confined to the block area….

Neff dished out over 103 assists last season to rank second in the Great Lakes Valley Conference for assists average at 3.96 per game. Coach Dean says she is a true point guard….

Truman coach Theo Dean, who signed three incoming freshman in the fall in Ella Armstrong of Ogden, Illinois, 6-3 Avery Larson of Antioch, Illinois, and Kaitlyn Patke of St. Francis Borgia High School in Washington, Missouri.
