Truman Split At William Jewell In The Regular Season Finale

The Truman State teams split games at William Jewell to wrap up the regular season today (Sat).

The Bulldog women bounced back from their lowest offensive output of the season Thursday to post a 98-72 win in Liberty. That included 59 first half points….

Brad Boyer with the call on Superstation KRES and Hannah Belanger led Truman with 17. Coach Theo Dean saw good ball movement…

The Bulldogs finish the GLVC season with a record of 15-5 and improve to 19-9 overall. They will be the 3rd seed in the GLVC Postseason Tournament in St. Charles. The Bulldogs will play Maryville Friday night and we will have the game on KRES starting at 8:15.

A last second three-pointer was no good and the Truman men came up short against Jewell 66-64. The Bulldogs led 62-58, but lost the lead on a Cardinals 7-0 run. Acting Head Coach Josh Beardsley discussed the last play….

Hunter Strait finished with 23 points to lead all scorers.The fifth year player leaves the program with the most games played at 141. The Bulldog men wrap up the season with a record of 12-16 and 7-13 in conference games.
