Truman Hosts Indianapolis In A Top 20 Showdown
Undefeated and Top 20 teams meet when Truman State entertains Indianapolis in one of the most high profile games at Stokes Stadium, in years, and certainly the biggest in the GLVC era. The host Bulldogs are 6-0 and ranked 19th in the Coaches Poll and 18th in the D2Football.com Poll. In that regular season finale last year, the Greyhounds rallied from that 14-point halftime deficit to win 28-14 and capture their eighth GLVC title in 11 years. UIndy coach Chris Keevers says these games come down to the trenches…..
Truman’s rush defense only gives up 93 yards a game. The Greyhounds’ ground attack accounts for 240 yards a game, which is 12th best in the country. Coach Nesbitt says their rushing success starts with the scheme….

It will be Youth Day at Stokes Stadium, with all kids high school-age and younger admitted free for the noon kickoff. You can hear the Indianapolis at Truman game this Saturday starting with the Truman Tailgate at 11:15. Brad, Eric and Hank will have the call.
This is one of three Top 20 games featuring teams in Super Region three. In Arkansas, 5th ranked Ouachita Baptist will play 9th ranked Harding. In Michigan, top ranked Ferris State will play Grand Valley State.
