Truman Drops Out Of The Top 25-A Couple Bulldogs Rank Highly In D2 Stats

Truman’s first loss of the season to Lindenwood on Saturday knocked the Bulldogs out of the NCAA Division II American Football Coaches Association Top 25 Poll. The Bulldogs received 23 votes, which is the 30th most. Truman is the only Great Lakes Valley Conference team receiving votes.
West Florida is ranked number one, followed by Northwest Missouri State.
A couple Bulldogs continue to rank highly in national statistics. Jaylen Jefferson leads D2 in kickoff return average (39.9). Cody Schrader is third in the country in rushing (153.2).
