Toalson Reisch Files Bill Requiring City Populations to be Posted on City Limit Signs

Among the bills Representative Cheri Toalson Reisch of Hallsville has filed this year is House Bill 2279, which would require city populations be posted on city limit signs in Missouri. Toalson Reisch says this has become an ongoing issue.

The delay from MoDOT has come from a recent federal mandate to eliminate population posting and other notices on city limit signs in an effort to cut down on distracted driving. Toalson Reisch says she’s taking matters into her hands in more than one way.

Toalson Reisch’s bill has received a hearing in the House Transportation Accountability Committee.
